One-Pan Honey Garlic Salmon & Asparagus
⏱️ Prep Time: 5 minutes • 🍳 Cook Time: 15 minutes
If you’re looking for a dinner that’s fast, healthy, and feels like something special — this is the one. The honey garlic glaze caramelizes over the salmon while the asparagus roasts until perfectly tender. It’s a full meal with no chopping, no pans to scrub, and no excuses to order takeout.
Sticky-sweet honey garlic salmon baked to perfection with tender-crisp asparagus
This is one of those recipes I come back to again and again because it feels like a total win: it's packed with flavor, the salmon turns out buttery and rich, and the asparagus gets just the right amount of char on the tips. Plus, the glaze? It’s the kind of thing you’ll want to drizzle over everything. Bonus points: no need to marinate — it’s all mix, pour, bake.
All you need is a small bowl to whisk the glaze, a lined baking sheet, and a dream. Okay, maybe not the dream — just an oven preheated to 400°F. This is great served as-is, or you can bulk it up with a microwaved rice pouch or a baked sweet potato if you’ve got a little more time.

Ingredients
4 skin-on salmon fillets (about 5 oz each)
1 lb asparagus, trimmed (or just snap the woody ends off by hand)
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (or bottled — no judgment!)
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp black pepper
Optional: sesame seeds or chili flakes for garnish
Steps
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment or foil.
Step 2
Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down on one side of the pan. Place the asparagus on the other side.
Step 3
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Step 4
Spoon or brush about two-thirds of the honey garlic glaze over the salmon. Drizzle the remaining glaze over the asparagus and toss gently to coat.
Step 5
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and asparagus is just tender. (For a stickier glaze, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.)
Step 6
Serve hot, with a sprinkle of sesame seeds or chili flakes if you like a little flair.
