Why You’ll Love This Recipe!

This better-than-takeout meal is made with clean, whole ingredients, keeping it Paleo-friendly while still being incredibly delicious. Instead of soy sauce, we’re using coconut aminos for a naturally sweet and salty flavor. Arrowroot starch thickens the sauce without needing cornstarch!

The best part? This dish comes together in just 30 minutesβ€”perfect for a quick weeknight dinner! Serve it with cauliflower rice for a complete meal that’s low-carb but still filling.

Bonus tip: Freezing your steak for 15 minutes before slicing makes it easier to cut thin, even strips!

  • Β½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • ΒΌ cup beef broth

For Serving:

  • 2 cups cauliflower rice (optional)

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Steps

Step 1

Prep the Beef
Pat the steak dry and slice it into thin strips (freezing for 15 minutes makes this easier!). Toss with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, sesame oil, apple cider vinegar, arrowroot starch, red pepper flakes (if using), and beef broth. Set aside.

Step 3

Sear the Beef
Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan.

Step 4

Cook the Broccoli
In the same skillet, add another 1 tbsp avocado oil and toss in the broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for another 30 seconds.

Step 5

Combine Everything
Return the beef to the pan. Pour in the sauce and toss everything together. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Step 6

Serve & Enjoy
Serve hot over cauliflower rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions!
